My Dear People:

As personal aide and caregiver for Tom Pitman of Rosemark, Tennessee, I commend the Methodist North Hospital Staff for the exceptional service we received during his hospitalization from March 20, until Cancer sent him to cold-storage on April 7, 2007.  The experiences of my stay with him in room 358 will never be forgotten.  It was like a breathtaking journey around the world!

You people are collectively one of the most wonderful groups of human beings I’ve ever seen here on earth.  From the time of arrival at the Emergency Room, until our companionship ceased, I stand in awe at your greatness.  Of the many churches visited during my travels, most fall sadly short of the Genuine Love, Godliness, Care and Concern that I saw and felt around you.  The only thing I found to be better in churches is their exceptional culinary delights.  Though I was told that the cooks are not allowed to prepare Rightly-seasoned Southern Cuisine, the Food-Service Personnel, however, are mighty nice folk!  Though such customary cookery is alleged to be detrimental to human welfare, I counsel you to BEWARE: The Viral Doctrines I hear taught by Americanized pastors on your planet are more toxic than your Exxon Valdez full of DDT.

Tom was a Shady Baptist Preacher; and as God is my Truth, what they portray themselves to be is NOT who they really are.  Intimate knowledge of those rascals reveals to me some of the most stingy, greedy, selfish, dishonest, cantankerous, rebellious and lustful Abusers and God-Hating Outlaws that I’ve ever known.  As to how such lawless liars and deceivers can claim Heavenly Rewards, I’ve yet to see it in God’s Truth.  As ticks, leeches and vampires, their life sustenance is sucking the blood from their hosts.  No matter how hard we try to please them, they’re never satisfied; no matter how much we give, they never get enough.  Don’t be deceived; a silk suit, penny-loafers, a Bible, and gold-rimmed spectacles can make even a monkey appear to be a pastor.  I empathize with the medical staff that has to deal with such beasts, as I’ve been in your shoes; but what really galls me is all the fraud, exploitation and abuse their unfortunate wives secretly endure, condone and conceal.  If all the disgraced, battered and beat-down wives could ever gain the Strength to Expose the Whole Truth about their atrociously evil pastor-husbands, Mary Winkler could be set free, and religious masses would possibly flee for asylum in Iraq!

But to get back to the reason for this letter, the Methodist North Staff are one of the loveliest groups of individuals that I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting here!  Everyone, from Rhonda Murchison and her Nurses, Jim Mixon and his Security Officers, Julian and his Housekeepers, the Food Service and other Staff: You all made me feel as if I owned the place.  Whenever and whatever Tom and I needed or wanted, though we were burdensome, you were most courteous, helpful and kind; Your service is unsurpassable!  Though I DO NOT condone Registered Nurses dumping bed pans and pee sacks, and wiping old men’s tails (What’s the deal there?), you all performed your labors with professionalism.  I commend the excellent teamwork!  None of you seemed to have a problem going out of your way to assist the others.  If I’m ever in need of hospitalization, I hope it can be with YOU!  In comparison with what a dreadful rat nest in a hell-hole the West Memphis hospital has been to so many, your hospital is like a part of Heaven!

You of the Oncology Unit are among the most beautiful-hearted people down here.  The intense Spirituality projecting from your innermost beings captivated, enhanced, and incessantly uplifted my Spirits; May I forever cherish your memories.  Though not recalling the names of many I met during my sojourn there, neglecting to mention the others would be unacceptable; as your brief acquaintances and hospitality improved the quality of my days.  You are a remarkable crew!

Heartfelt Love goes up for April, Emily and Stephanie at the Nurses Station; Mandy, Brittney, Claudette, Terri, Judy, Ginger, Yulunda, Susan, Jennifer and Kristie; Becky and Ann, and many others from there, the E.R., and other visited departments.  Dr. Lisa Kennedy was like a real Life Saver; and her Nurse Sarah is a Highly-Prized Princess in my eyes.  Becky, the Outpatient Ultrasound Tech is truly a Coveted Jewel.  Dr. Ratliff, Dr. Baskin, and Dr. Verzosa seemed to be fine men of integrity.  Though, without cause, Tom was quite hostile toward him, I appreciate Dr. Liman’s Truth and Honesty.  Ms. Sarah, who tidies up the rooms, is a Genuine Sweetheart; and Andrew, who keeps the floors so shiny, though retired from three jobs and working on the fourth, generously shared of his Wisdom.  Though many were shy and reserved, most were Ready And Willing to verbalize comforting prayers on Tom’s behalf, per his request.  People of such nature are a Real Blessing in my Book, and should know how much they’re appreciated; so, THANK YOU ALL for impacting my life in such Wonderful and Spiritual ways.

True enough, some of the team are wearied from the heavy burden of faithful service in such a demanding environment, and the projections of their spirits are not so unique; but the Greatness of Spirit among the majority overwhelms that which is lacking in the others.  By the Universal Law of God, Good Always Overcomes bad; therefore, even though there are a few of whom on a personal rating would score less than desirable, according to my grading curve the overall average is FAR ABOVE PERFECTION!  Logically, such a score cannot be attained; BUT, since SO MANY of you ‘Go The Extra Mile’ in both Job and Spirit, earth-bound human logic has no influence on my assessment.  God’s Gift of Spiritual Insight allows us to see things that common human eyes cannot comprehend; so, Three Thumbs Up and a Big Smile from me!  Since the Patient Satisfaction Survey’s highest rating is a mere ‘5’, it would only be right to grant each of you THREE 5’s APIECE; one on each shoulder, and one on your Heart!

As Minister and Messenger of the Most-High God, I’m Honored to have been in your presence, however so briefly.  May The Great Father’s Love, Mercy and Blessing pour upon us; Let us SEEK Eternal Unity with Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of The Almighty Creator, His Virtuous and Holy Spirits, His Saints, and His Heavenly Beings.  May the Institutes founded of the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Jesus be Nourished, Exalted, Flourished, Blessed, and Perpetually Victorious!  May the allies of Satan’s evil works and lies against the Law and Truth of My Blessed God be exposed, stricken, diseased, confused, collapse, and at last be Executed in the tar pits of Hell. AMEN.  In Service to Christ Jesus, in Honor of God, I hereby implore you to present a copy of this letter to each and every Winner on the Methodist North Hospital Team.
